Needham Poulier was established in 1998, specialising in criminal and mental health law. As recently as July 2017 we were assessed by an independent review developed by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies to be conducting work ‘to a high degree of competence’ and noting that “there were several examples of the provider ‘going the extra mile’.”
At the outset our aim was to provide the highest quality service to our clients, whilst at the same time being as approachable and friendly as possible. Thousands of satisfied clients would agree that we have achieved this aim and we also enjoy the highest reputation at our local courts and beyond.
Our dedicated team of solicitors and support staff are specialists in their respective fields and we hold the Legal Aid Agency’s Specialist Quality Mark in Criminal and Mental Health law. We only practice in these areas, enabling us to offer our clients the best service available.
We remain dedicated to the principle of justice for all regardless of means, and most of the work we do is funded by the Legal Aid Agency, meaning our clients may not have to pay for our services. More information about this is provided on our Criminal and Mental Health pages.
We hope this website is of help to you. If you have any questions please contact us.
